Collaborative Applications: Development & Integration (CADI)

Collaborative Applications: Development and Integration (CADI) provides web-based application development to the Sandia/California campus.

CADI designs, develops and maintains custom web sites, web-based applications and desktop application systems, providing data handling both locally and remotely for corporate information systems. Our rapid development approach focuses on the creation and delivery of working prototypes that are expanded incrementally over time to achieve the full system objectives.

CADI also identifies and introduces next-generation collaborative tools into Sandia's IT infrastructure. Examples include a corporately-managed email system, team workspaces, blogs, wikis, and corporate instant messaging capabilities. By acting as an impetus for technological advancement and continually introducing new technologies, CADI continues to lead the Corporation in this arena.

The third service managed by CADI is the Sandia/California Technical Library. In addition to providing the latest hard-copy publications in the physical library, online access is provided to a large number of periodicals, journals, databases, and books. Moreover, reference librarians are available to perform literature searches in support of the site staff. Finally, the library maintains the Central Technical Files, a repository for Sandia reports and documents.
